Cooking Like a Newlywed // Part II.

Remember this post about becoming a "foodie?"

I have some new additions as of lately!

First time making both - delicious! We combined the rice in the taco and adding all the fixins. I found out that Kevin loves cauliflower and I haven't had it since I was a kid. I bet you could add some spices and experiment with this, but we loved the cilantro and lime. Plain would taste well...really plain. I wouldn't recommend it. Supposedly it's a healthy version of "rice?" Definitely not rice if that's what you're expecting. Considering its....not...rice.

These are awesome breakfast muffins and you can freeze them if you wanna make a ton and defrost them. And NOT burn down your house by them catching on fire in the microwave when you defrost them accidentally on the meat setting....

I replaced milk with almond milk (which I do with anything I bake) and used 'regular' flour.

(a husband tried and true favorite treat).

I love this recipe so much. It's a little more complicated than I lean towards with all the prep and process before but it is WELL worth it!

This is also a tried and true favorite. Nothing like eating Pad Thai on the actual streets of Thailand (add it to your bucket list, you won't regret it) but I'll take it. There's no funky ingredients like most recipes and it's super easy so it's fairly "American-ized" I would say. It tastes like a form of lo mein noodles. I bet it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's an awesome change for every once in awhile when I'm in the mood!

This is a new recipe that I will definitely be making again! We devoured this! I replaced greek yogurt with regular yogurt because that's what I had on hand. I also omitted the 'glaze' in attempt to make it healthier (HA!) and it was just as good I promise. You aren't missing anything.

Happy cooking and baking!
